Why Book With Beltway

Match day is not the day
to risk your transportation

Fixed Rate on Match Day
Rideshare apps will surge to 3x to 5x normal rates on World Cup match days. Your Beltway rate is confirmed at booking. It does not change on match day regardless of demand.
I-95 Traffic Expertise
Our chauffeurs run the DC-Philadelphia and DC-New Jersey corridor regularly. They know the I-95/I-295 split, the Delaware stretch, and the New Jersey Turnpike interchange at Exit 16E for MetLife.
Group Cost Split
A Sprinter van carrying 10 fans to Philadelphia works out at roughly $48 per person each way. That is less than parking plus transit, and everyone travels together door to door from your DC hotel.
24/7 Arlington Dispatch
If your plans change, a match is rescheduled, or you need to add passengers, our in-house dispatch answers 24 hours from our Arlington, VA base. Not voicemail. Not a call centre. A real person.
USDOT Licensed and Insured
Beltway Limousine LLC is registered under USDOT #4281564 and fully insured for commercial passenger transport. Every chauffeur is commercially licensed and background-checked. Not a rideshare driver with a personal vehicle.
Celebrate on the Way Home
Win or lose, your chauffeur drives. Our stretch limousines are available for World Cup evenings with a full bar, ambient lighting, and room to celebrate. Book the Cadillac Escalade for your World Cup Final night.
Common Questions

World Cup 2026 transportation FAQ

No. Washington DC is not one of the 16 official host cities for the 2026 FIFA World Cup. However, DC is positioned between two of the closest East Coast host venues. Philadelphia's Lincoln Financial Field is 134 miles north via I-95, and MetLife Stadium in New Jersey is 225 miles north. DC also hosted the official World Cup Draw ceremony at the Kennedy Center on December 5, 2025. For DC-based fans, the city is the ideal base to attend multiple matches across both venues.
Under normal conditions, Washington DC to Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia is approximately 2.5 hours via I-95 North or I-295 North. On World Cup match days, expect 3.5 to 4 hours due to heavy traffic on I-95 through Maryland, Delaware, and South Philadelphia. We recommend departing DC 3.5 to 4 hours before kickoff. For evening matches, afternoon traffic on I-95 through Baltimore adds additional time. Our chauffeurs monitor real-time traffic and adjust routing through Delaware using Route 1 or Route 40 when I-95 backs up.
MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey is 225 miles from Washington DC via I-95 North and the New Jersey Turnpike. Under normal conditions the journey takes approximately 4 hours. On World Cup match days, particularly for the Final on July 19, add 60 to 90 minutes for I-95 corridor traffic and New Jersey Turnpike congestion near Exit 16E. For the July 19 World Cup Final at 3pm ET, we strongly recommend departing DC by 8am. This is not a journey to cut short on the biggest match in world football.
Philadelphia match transportation starts from $350 one-way for an executive sedan, or $480 one-way for a Sprinter van carrying up to 13 passengers. MetLife Stadium transportation starts from $550 one-way for a sedan, or $750 for a Sprinter van. All rates are fixed at booking and include I-95 and New Jersey Turnpike tolls. No surge pricing on match days. For group rates on coach buses or multi-vehicle bookings, call (202) 802-5775. See our full pricing guide for all vehicle options.
Yes. A round trip to Philadelphia is entirely feasible in one day. Allow approximately 8 to 9 hours total for the round trip including both drives and 2 to 3 hours at the match. For MetLife Stadium, a round trip is possible but is a long day. Depart DC at 10am for a 3pm or 4pm kickoff, and expect to return to DC between midnight and 1am after post-match traffic clears. For the World Cup Final, we strongly recommend booking a hotel in New Jersey or New York City for the night. Attempting the 4-hour return drive after the Final ends around 6pm ET in heavy traffic is not what we recommend for the biggest match of the year.
A Sprinter van is the best option for 10 to 13 fans. Everyone travels together from one pickup point, you split the cost across the group, and you arrive at the stadium without navigating Amtrak tickets, parking, or stadium transit. For a Philadelphia match, a Sprinter van at roughly $480 works out at about $48 per person each way. Compare that to Amtrak tickets ($40 to $80 per person each way) plus transit to the stadium, and the limo becomes highly competitive. For groups over 13, a coach bus is available. Call (202) 802-5775 for group quotes.
Book as early as possible. The Brazil vs Morocco match at MetLife on June 13, the France matches, the England match on June 27, and the World Cup Final on July 19 will fill all available vehicles from DC. We recommend booking at least 8 to 12 weeks ahead for Brazil, France, and England matches, and at least 3 to 4 months ahead for the Final. The July 4 Round of 16 in Philadelphia coincides with America's 250th birthday celebrations and will have extraordinary demand. Call (202) 802-5775 to check current availability for your match date.
