Is Beltway Limousine federally licensed?
Yes. Beltway Limousine is a federally licensed carrier with an active USDOT number (#4281564) and full commercial insurance. Our registration is publicly verifiable at safer.fmcsa.dot.gov.
Which areas does Beltway Limousine serve?
We serve the full DMV area. Washington DC, Northern Virginia, and Maryland, with all the major corridors covered: Arlington, Alexandria, Tysons, Bethesda, and Georgetown. Airport service at DCA, IAD, and BWI. For trips beyond the DMV area, contact us directly for a quote.
Chauffeurs & Standards
Are your chauffeurs licensed and background-checked?
Every Beltway chauffeur passes a full background check, holds a clean DMV record, and completes a DOT medical clearance before joining our roster. DC-specific training covering road conditions, airport terminal procedures, and client service standards follows before their first booking.
What training do your chauffeurs receive?
Our chauffeurs complete safety training, chauffeur service training, and DC-specific route training covering government closure routes, Embassy Row protocols, airport terminal procedures, and every major corridor in the metro area. DOT medical checks and DMV record reviews are required before any chauffeur takes a booking.
Booking & Reservations
How far in advance should I book?
It depends on the service. Airport transfers are fine with 24 to 48 hours’ notice. For weddings and high-demand dates like cherry blossom season and prom, we recommend booking 4 to 5 months ahead.
What is the minimum booking time?
Airport transfers and point-to-point transfers have no hourly minimum. Hourly as-directed bookings for sedans and SUVs have a 3-hour minimum. Stretch limousines have a 4-hour minimum for all events and evening bookings. Charter bus rentals also require a 4-hour minimum.
How do I make changes to my booking?

Pricing & Payment
Does Beltway charge surge pricing like ridesharing platforms?
No. Beltway Limousine does not use surge pricing under any circumstances. Your rate is fixed at the time of booking and does not change based on traffic conditions, weather, time of day, or demand. If your flight is delayed two hours, your chauffeur waits, and your rate does not change.
What makes Beltway different from other limo providers?
Three things: our chauffeurs are trained specifically for DC conditions; our dispatch is in-house 24 hours a day; and our pricing is fixed with no surge charges. You know exactly what you pay before you book.
Are tolls, parking fees, and gratuity included in the quoted rate?
Tolls and parking fees are not included in hourly and package rates. For flat-rate airport and transfer bookings, confirm with our team at the time of booking. Gratuity is optional and presented separately at checkout. It is never added without your knowledge.
When am I charged for my booking?
Full payment is required in advance to reserve the date, chauffeur, and vehicle. For any additional charges incurred during service (such as overtime, additional stops, or waiting time), these are billed separately after the trip.
What is your cancellation and refund policy?
All bookings are final and non-refundable if canceled by the client. If we cancel a booking with your consent due to severe weather conditions, such as icy roads or heavy snowfall, the booking is fully refundable or can be rescheduled based on vehicle availability.
Vehicle & Passenger Policies
Are pets allowed inside your vehicles?
No. Animals are not permitted in any Beltway Limousine vehicle or affiliate vehicle.
Do you provide baby car seats?
Yes. We provide infant, front-facing, and booster seats. One child seat is included at no additional charge per trip. Additional seats beyond the first are charged at $25 per seat.
Can we bring food, drinks, or alcohol inside the vehicles?
Passengers may bring non-alcoholic beverages and light snacks. Alcohol consumption is prohibited by law. Any spills, stains, or unsanitary conditions resulting from food or drink will incur a minimum sanitation fee of $350.
